Rumors are circulating on TikTok that the government is imposing a 2am curfew on nightclubs in the UK – but it’s fake news.

UK Night Club : Rumors of 2AM UK club curfew go viral
Rumors that the UK is introducing a new 2am club curfew emerged after a TikTok video posted by an account called Bulls Knows News went viral.
“All UK clubs will have a curfew starting at 2pm, which is in line with the USA model and creates far less disturbance to households,” one person said firmly.
He said new legislation being introduced by the Conservatives in the next session of Parliament aimed at “curbing anti-social drunken behaviour”.
The TikTok user also quoted a purported 89-year-old Tory peer in the House of Lords who said: “Young people have too much time for partying and drinking.”
“This law will help them get into an action-oriented mindset,” he continued before adding that UK DJs and clubs are planning a 24-hour rave protest.
UK Night Club : That tiktok video is just a satire
If this wild law wasn’t already clear enough, a quick tap on a TikTok user’s profile reveals that the whole thing is completely brewing.
Bull Nose News is a comedic TikTok based in the UK whose bio states: “Here’s the truth, news you can trust. Pun/Parody.”
However, the video certainly fooled many who were outraged by Kampey Law.
UK Night Club : Fake UK seatbelt tax silly brits
It comes just days after people in the UK were fooled by a satirical Top Gear report which said a new seatbelt tax was being introduced in 2025.
“The government has announced that any new car sold with seatbelts will be subject to an additional tax,” the false article revealed.
It said it was following a decision by Chancellor Jeremy Hunt in the Autumn Budget to make car drivers pay “for their continued safety on an annual basis”.
One person wrote on Twitter, “Once they taxed seat belts, car seats, lights, doors and bumpers, will they tax the air next?”
“It’s funny. Even he doesn’t believe the reason he gave for making the accusation, surely he?” said another.
However, the full report, which was posted on the official Top Gear site, was intended to be a prank.
