Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 / Fold 5 Price In India
Samsung is all set to introduce the new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones to the global market at the Galaxy Unpacked event in South Korea on July 26. Samsung is traditionally more open about providing information prior to big launches than its rival Apple, and the case is the same this time with specifications and images of the two models surfacing online before the official unveiling.
As the release of Samsung’s latest foldable devices nears, insider Paras Guglani has shared the projected prices for the Indian market. He suggests that the starting price for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 might be around ₹95,000, whereas the larger Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to start from ₹1,43,500. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is likely to come with a base storage of 128GB, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is projected to offer 256GB of storage space.
Expected features
Recent leaks hint at improvements to the Z Flip 5’s cover display, with its size likely to be bumped up to 3.4 inches. This upcoming model of the Z Flip is also predicted to get a performance upgrade with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, currently used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The device will probably keep its well-known dual 12MP camera setup and potentially offer enhanced water and dust resistance with an upgraded IP58 rating.
In a similar vein, the impending Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone is also expected to receive a significant boost with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Noteworthy features include a sizeable 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED display and a 6.2-inch AMOLED cover screen. In terms of camera specs, it might showcase a formidable 50MP main camera, supplemented by a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. Also, a 12MP front camera is expected for selfies.
Alongside the new foldable phones, Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy Watch 6 Series.
